Joey Swoll Calls Out WWE Stars; Teases Match
Joey Swoll is coming for two WWE stars.
Influencer Joey Swoll has built a huge following online for encouraging people working to get fit, while calling out others for poor gym etiqutte — mainly hose complaining about people ‘getting in shot’ as they record their workouts. Swoll strives to spread positivity, urging people to “do better.”
As it turns out, no one is safe from Swoll and his fans, even WWE Superstars. In a new clip on social media, Swoll took aim at Grayson Waller and Austin Theory after the pair clashed with a gym user who walked into shot while they were recording.
In the video, Swoll said Theory “doesn’t want this smoke” before threatening to end his career. He then call on WWE to put a deal together.
In response, Waller posted his own video reading out a list of angry DMs he’d been sent by the “Swoll Army,” before hitting back at the influencer.
Given Waller and Theory’s role as heels on WWE TV, it’s likely their original video was staged.
Not First Time The WWE Star Has Caused Chaos On Social Media
This is far from the first time Grayson Waller became embroiled in a social media controversy. While his shots at The Rock back in 2023 were something perhaps to be expected, his issues with Taylor Swift were a little more left field.
Back in October, Waller made disparaging comments about Swift on an episode of The Bump, and the Swifties wasted little time in attacking the Aussie star in the name of their hero. Instead of backing down, Waller mocked a Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes celebration with a little help from Austin Theory.
At WrestleMania 40, Theory and Waller are set to take part in the Six-Pack Tag Team Title Ladder Match. The match will be Waller’s first at WrestleMania.
