Joe Hendry Makes Shock WWE Main Roster Appearance
Joe Hendry will turn up almost anywhere, and now he’s back with the WWE main roster as one star gets an unwanted surprise.
Despite still being a TNA star, Joe Hendry seems to spend most of his time turning up in the unlikeliest places wherever WWE goes. While still TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry stunned the world as Randy Orton’s unannounced WrestleMania 41 opponent. Although Orton dispatched of Hendry in short order.
In more recent weeks, Hendry has been spotted appearing in a variety of increasingly bizarre places backstage in NXT. But now he’s hit a bit closer to home.
With Clash In Paris taking place on August 31st, WWE is in Europe with Raw taking place in Birmingham, England. That show ended in chaos as Jey Uso stood alone after Seth Rollins’ challengers for the World Heavyweight Championship all turned on each other.
Joe Hendry Answers Open Challenge
With that show in the books, WWE headed to Manchester for a live event headlined by CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and Penta defeating The Judgment Day. Sami Zayn had enjoyed a bit of English culture with an AEW star the night before.
The Manchester show also saw The Miz be his bombastic self as he issued an open challenge on the show. That challenge was answered by Joe Hendry, who went on to defeat the former WWE Champion.
It remains to be seen what Hendry’s future holds, but with his continued appearances in WWE, many believe it is inevitable that the Scottish star will end up there when his current deal with TNA comes to an end.
