Joe Hendry Knocks Back WWE Speculation

Joe Hendry TNA

Joe Hendry is continuing to sidestep questions on his future.

At the Royal Rumble, Jordynne Grace made her first appearance as a WWE star after signing with the company in January.

Grace is no stranger to WWE television having wrestled at the 2024 Royal Rumble and several times in NXT across the previous 12 months.

While Grace was tangling with some of the biggest names in NXT’s women’s division, fellow TNA star Joe Hendry saw his popularity explode. This also coincided with multiple appearances on WWE TV.

Hendry rode that wave all the way to Genesis on January 19 where he finally claimed the TNA World Championship.

Given TNA’s close relationship with WWE, and Grace’s move between the two companies, many expect Hendry to follow suit. But it seems fans might have to be patient.

Joe Hendry Focused On TNA

During a new interview with Shakiel Mahjouri, Hendry was asked whether he’s looking to follow in Grace’s footsteps and make his way to WWE. However, even if that is the Scottish star’s long-term plan, he’s keeping it to himself.

“My job is to be the TNA World Champion and my job is to represent TNA, to elevate this championship, and to elevate the company. So my focus is on TNA Wrestling.”

Back in September it was reported that Hendry had a “substantial” amount of time left on is deal.
