Coming out to his signature “I believe in Joe Hendry” theme during the November 10, 2022 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Joe Hendry was set to square off against current champion Brian Myers for his IMPACT Digital Media Championship.

When the smoke cleared, it would be Hendry with the title, joining the ranks of wrestlers such as Myers, Matt Cardona, Rich Swann and Jordynne Grace as a part of the IMPACT Digital Media Championship fraternity.

Near the end of the match, Cardona would come out in an attempt to interfere in the match and help Myers retain his title, however, current IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Heath and Rhino would appear to clear out Cardona from the situation.

During a recent interview with Fightful Select, Joe Hendry said that being in IMPACT Wrestling was a “dream.”

“I feel I’m doing my dream job in my dream company. How many people in their life get to say that? I will never take it for granted. I knew I had to quit my shoot job that I was doing a couple of days before the second taping. I knew I had to double down and let the chips fall where they may. If I don’t give this 100%, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. I have to give this 100%.”

Now, he’s the new IMPACT Digital Media Champion.
