Joe Hendry Eyes Up First WWE Feud
Say his name and he appears proved to be true on NXT as Joe Hendry returned to the brand and looks set for his first feud in WWE.
On the July 9th episode of NXT, Joe Hendry made a winning return to WWE teaming with Trick Williams to beat Ethan Page and Shawn Spears.
The Scottish star has arguably been the biggest beneficiary of WWE’s new link-up with TNA having seen his popularity explode. Hendry made his full WWE debut on the June 18th edition of NXT where he took part in a 25-man Battle Royal to determine a new number one contender for the NXT Championship.
With WWE reportedly happy with Hendry’s reception from fans, more appearances have been expected and on the 16th of July edition of NXT, Hendry was back.
Gallus had previously hinted they weren’t happy with Hendry or any other TNA stars invading the NXT roster which set up a match with The Rascalz as TNA stars Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel reunited with Wes Lee. During the bout, with all six men down, Vic Joseph noted that Joe Hendry would be watching with interest and wouldn’t you know what happened next?

This will no doubt have raised Gallus’ ire and it could very well lead to an all-Scottish showdown in the very near future on WWE television.
The next time Joe Hendry appears on WWE TV he have gold around his waist as he will challenge for the TNA World Championship at the sold-out Slammiversary show on July 20th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
