Joe Hendry Hugely Deserving Of WWE Debut Says TNA Veteran

Joe Hendry NXT

One veteran was pleased to see Joe Hendry pop up in NXT.

On the June 18th episode of NXT, Joe Hendry made his long-awaited debut with WWE’s third brand.

The show began with a huge cross-promotional Battle Royal to determine a new number-one contender for the NXT Championship. With 23 competitors in the ring, Hendry was introduced to a huge ovation, telling fans he was going to take the title back to TNA.

However, Hendry was quickly eliminated by another TNA star and the man who defeated Hendry at Against All Odds, Frankie Kazarian. The fans chanted bullsh*t in response and in a video released by WWE later on, Hendry confronted Shawn Michaels and warned he could turn up on any show at any time.

Posting on social media, Matt Hardy said both Hendry and Kazarian were well deserving of their WWE appearances.

Very happy to see @joehendry & @FrankieKazarian appear on #WWENXT tonight. Both hugely deserving talents. The @ThisIsTNA & @WWENXT crossover is “best for business” as The Man With 3Hs would say.

Joe Hendry To Make More WWE Appearances

According to a report from Fightful Select, Joe Hendry will be back in NXT before long with those backstage “very happy” with how his appearance was received.

TNA was also pleased with how everything played out with the continuation of Hendy’s feud with Frazkie Kazarian. However, others wished the Scottish star would have been able to spend longer in the match before being eliminated.
