Jimmy Uso Costs Jey Uso US Title On SmackDown

Jey Uso Jimmy Uso

One week after Jimmy Uso was exiled from The Bloodline by Jimmy Uso, all eyes were on what Jey Uso would do on SmackDown.

The Bloodline imploded completely on the 2nd of June edition of SmackDown following Jimmy Uso dropping Roman Reigns with a pair of super kicks at Night of Champions.

Jimmy Uso tried to reason with Reigns and bring the group back together but The Tribal Chief refused leading to Solo Sikoa taking out Jimmy with a Samoan Spike. That left Jey Uso once again caught in the middle of the family drama.

On SmackDown in Des Moines, Iowa it was left to Paul Heyman to talk Jey Uso around to Roman Reigns’ way of thinking as he told Jey that he was being groomed to be the next Tribal Chief and to prove their dedication to him, a US Title match was set up for Jey to face Austin Theory for the night’s main event.

During that match, Theory’s new friends Pretty Deadly swarmed the ring to help the champion but this brought out Jimmy Uso to back up his twin brother. That, in turn, brought out Solo Sikoa who went after Jimmy but as he attempted another Spike to his older brother, Jey stopped him. Jimmy Uso attempted to nail Sikoa with a super kick but disaster struck as he nailed Jey instead.

As Sikoa and Jimmy brawled to the outside, Theory took advantage and was able to pin Jey to retain his championship.

Roman Reigns returns to SmackDown on June 16th and it looks increasingly likely that Jey Uso is going to have to make a decision as to where his loyalties lie.
