Jim Ross Turned Down Very Personal Offer From Tammy Sytch
Jim Ross received an interesting offer from Tammy Sytch.
Tammy Sytch’s life has been beset by controversy and legal struggles for several years. The star formerly known as Sunny is currently serving 17 and a half years in prison following the death of a 75-year-old man. Sytch crashed her car into the man while driving under the influence at high speed.
During a recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross reflected on working with Sytch during the 1990s, and the chaos that has seemed to follow her ever since. While discussing the former WWE star, Ross revealed that she offered to move in with him following the death of his wife Jan in 2017.
JR recalled Sytch offering to take care of him in the bedroom, but he quickly turned down the advance.
“Yeah, I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom. Blah, blah, blah, and we can have a great time. And I thought about it for like, 10 seconds. No way in hell.
I mean, I might be naive and lonely and heartbroken, but god damn it, I already been down that road. I already saw what she was all about, and I wasn’t going to bring myself into the dramatic aspect of my life, and I’m sure as glad I didn’t do it.
A piece of ass is a piece of ass. What the hell. Ain’t worth the trouble…I dodged the bullet there. I promise you.”
Ross later clarified that at no time had the pair had a sexual relationship and her offer came out of the blue.
Jim Ross Could Stay With AEW
Speaking on a different episode of his podcast, Jim Ross revealed that he could stay with AEW beyond the end of his current contract which expires in August. The legendary commentator had previously said the deal would be his last as an announcer but suggested he could keep working given his part-time schedule.
Ross has only worked pay-per-views since early 2024, and he usually calls the action in the biggest matches on the card.
