The Reason Jim Ross Says Logan Paul’s Recent Issues Are A Waste Of Time
After a recent clash between WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash and Logan Paul, AEW announcer Jim Ross thinks it should never have happened so publicly.
Logan Paul recently sat down with Hulk Hogan on his podcast where they discussed many of Hogan’s fantastical claims and during the chat, it came to light that Paul had no idea what the wrestling term “shoot” meant.
That led to Kevin Nash blasting Logan Paul, claiming he was not “one of the boys.” Logan Paul responded by claiming he didn’t know who Kevin Nash was and said he was a top-five talent in the business.
While fans may have enjoyed the salacious back and forth, one man well versed in the world of wrestling talent relations wishes it didn’t happen.
Jim Ross Unhappy About Logan Paul/Kevin Nash Beef
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, former WWE Head of Talent Relations Jim Ross gave his thoughts on the situation and thinks Logan Paul did himself no favours getting involved with Nash:
It shouldn’t have been made public, I don’t think. Who did it help? It didn’t help Logan Paul. And I don’t know that it helped WWE. We’re talking about it so maybe it did and we’re just not acknowledging it.
But I would have probably preferred, if I was involved in talent relations… the talent should be smart enough not to light fires that they can’t address. In other words, they’re shooting an angle that’ll never happen. And that’s a waste of time.
There’s a million things Logan Paul, who’s still trying to get over – and he’s a hell of a hand – but he’s still… I don’t know how it helps everybody. It shows you where Logan Paul’s head is.
Kevin Nash gave his reason why Logan Paul couldn’t be a top-five guy in wrestling as the former US Champion continues to rehearse his matches.
