Jim Ross Demands WWE Firing After Photo Leak

Jim Ross

Jim Ross has no time for those pulling back the wrestling curtain.

In recent weeks a photo began doing the rounds on social media showing several WWE Superstars talking in the ring and going through their matches ahead of Raw.

While some felt the picture gave an interesting insight into life behind the scenes, others felt it was something that needlessly continued to destroy the illusion.

Speaking on his podcast Grilling JR, Jim Ross held nothing back when giving his opinion, suggesting that if the photo came from someone inside WWE they should be fired.

“Somebody’s a chicken s**t quite frankly,” Ross said without mincing words. “It’s just unprofessional and has no place. Whoever did it should be fired, simple as that. Shouldn’t go to HR, just say, ‘Look, we’re done. You broke a rule that is important to maintain.’

But that picture is very revealing, it tells multiple stories, and so in that respect, it’s unique as you can see all the talents hanging around. That’s kind of a typical thing, everybody’s going through their paces, talking, trying to get their timing together, all those things … so it’s daunting. I don’t like it, I don’t like when things like that happen.”

Tony Khan Defends Jim Ross

Meanwhile, Tony Khan recently came to Jim Ross’ defence after he came under fire from Kevin Kelly’s attorney. On his podcast, Ross suggested that a recent lawsuit filed by Kelly, The Tate Twin was “frivolous.”

Kelly’s personal response was somewhat more measured than that of his attorney who said Ross was “part of the problem,” adding that AEW had paid the announcer a lot of money to do nothing.

Khan replied that he was “shocked and appalled” by the comments before calling Ross a legend.
