Speaking on What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, WWE president Nick Khan shared Jey Uso’s comments about her and the former World Heavyweight Champion

So I was talking to Jey Uso about that episode [Stephanie’s Places] He’s the best. You know what he said about you in that episode? He said, ‘She’s one of us.’

Khan then shared his own thoughts on McMahon, and he has nothing but admiration for her after watching her work for the past eight years:

Your ability to disarm people, your ability to go uptown and downtown, your ability, I’ve seen it with you for eight plus years of being in business with one another. You care about the people. And in order to lead the people, you got to love the people. I think that was a Muhammad Ali line. And you’ll see a lot of executives, a lot of leaders, will say they care about the people, but they really don’t.

Stephanie McMahon’s relationship with her father has been the subject of some scrutiny in recent weeks. Vince McMahon was forced out of WWE with his son-in-law, Triple H, succeeding him as the company’s creative head.
