Jey Uso Addresses Current Version Of WWE’s The Bloodline

Jey Uso WWE Yeet

Jey Uso is thriving on his own in WWE while also keeping an eye on what’s going on with The Bloodline.

As one of the top babyfaces on the WWE Raw brand, Jey Uso has become one of the most popular superstars in the company. The man who loves to shout “YEET” at all times has one of the coolest entrances in the company while also receiving loud ovations everywhere he goes.

In the summer of 2020 when WWE was in the “Thunderdome Era” due to COVID-19, Jey became the “right hand man” to his cousin, the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns. It wasn’t a smooth process since Jey tried to take the Universal Title from Roman, but after Roman beat Jey on multiple occasions, Jey became an ally of Reigns in a storyline that lasted over two and a half years.

Jey his twin brother Jimmy Uso beat Reigns and The Usos younger brother Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank 2023. That led to Jey Uso challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the SummerSlam 2023 main event. Jey lost because his brother Jimmy turned on him. In the weeks that followed, Jey officially left The Bloodline and eventually went on his own on Raw.

While Jey has been on Raw, The Bloodline story has continued on Smackdown with Solo Sikoa as The Tribal Chief leading a group that includes cousin Jacob Fatu and WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa. This past week on Smackdown, Reigns returned from an attack by The Bloodline one month earlier to fight with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes against the group.

At WWE Bad Blood on October 5th, Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes will team up against Sikoa and Fatu in one of the biggest matches at the show.

Jey Uso spoke to Metro about The Bloodline story while admitting he didn’t know what was going to happen.

“I’m looking forward to the Bloodline storyline as much as you all are, because I’ll be honest, I don’t know what we’re going to do, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

“I don’t know how we how they’re going to intertwine me back in there… Sami (Zayn) would be my first pick, right? It only makes sense. Hey, we might have other family members, more surprises, man!”

The WWE Bad Blood PLE is next up on October 5th, but a lot of fans are also eyeing up Survivor Series WarGames on November 30th. Many fans want to see Reigns reunite The Bloodline with Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso (out of action for several months after an attack from The Bloodline), and perhaps Sami Zayn on the same side once again. Whether it happens is unknown at this time.

Jey Uso Earns Shot At WWE Intercontinental Title

In the main event of WWE Monday Night Raw on September 9th, Jey Uso picked up a huge win in a four-way match with Pete Dunne, Ilja Dragunov and Braun Strowman. Jey won the match with an Uso Splash.

The reward for winning that four-way match is a future Intercontinental Title match that will see Jey challenge the champion Bron Breakker, who has been very impressive since joining the Raw brand earlier this year. As of this writing, WWE has yet to announce when the Breakker-Uso match will happen.
