Jey Uso Losing World Title Blasted By WWE Hall Of Famer

Jey Uso

Jey Uso’s Hall of Fame father, Rikishi, isn’t happy about his son losing the World Heavyweight Title.

The WWE World Heavyweight Title has existed for three years, and to date, there have been three title reigns that have lasted over 100 days. Seth Rollins was the first champion with a 316-day title reign, Gunther had the second-longest reign at 258 days, and Damian Priest held it for 118 days.

There is also Drew McIntyre, who had the title for about five minutes when Priest cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase on him.

Jey Uso’s World Title win at WrestleMania 41 was a huge celebration because the “Yeet Man” is so popular with the fans. However, that reign ended on the June 9th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw when Jey Uso lost the World Title to Gunther in a result that surprised many fans, as it was just 51 days into Jey’s World Title reign.

Rikishi is Jey Uso’s WWE Hall of Fame father, and he’s not happy about his son losing the World Title. While speaking on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, Rikishi complained about WWE’s creative team.

“I feel that those that are writing for this kid his storyline, you didn’t do him justice. You didn’t feed this champion right talent to be able to continue to make this champion… I say fire, fire.

Those that are writing for this kid here, if you can’t come up with some something simple to promote and push your champion that you… decide to put this kid in that position… get the hell out.”

It has been reported that Gunther beat Jey Uso because WWE wants the Gunther-Goldberg match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12th to be a World Title match.

Jey Uso’s World Title Loss Angered Rikishi And So Did A Roman Reigns Rumor

There have been some people who speculated that WWE owners TKO Group may want to lower Roman Reigns’ salary, which Rikishi saw, and he wasn’t happy about that either since Reigns is his cousin.

“Here’s a guy that Main Event Wrestlemania, six main events and more to come… Y’all do the math every Wrestlemania… That’s a lot of money. And guess whose face was on that, leading that… Roman Reigns, bloodline member.”

Regarding the legendary Anoi’a family that formed The Bloodline, Rikishi was fired up again.

“If you’re done with it, say it. You want to move on. Say it, but damn it. I’ll be damned I’m gonna sit back and you try to erase the history of our family, of what we put into this business.”

Jey Uso will have another chance to become a World Champion in WWE by competing in the King of the Ring Tournament on the June 16th edition of Raw. If Jey can somehow win the King of the Ring tournament, he’ll challenge for the World Title at SummerSlam.
