Jey Uso Makes Shocking Health Announcement Before WWE SummerSlam

Jey Uso gave an unfortunate health update ahead of his match tonight at WWE SummerSlam.

The former World Heavyweight Champion is set to tag with his cousin, Roman Reigns, in a tag team match against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Although they seemingly had the best of their opponents for a couple of weeks on RAW, Uso and The Original Tribal Chief fell victim to a brutal beatdown at the hands of Breakker and Reed last Monday on the red brand.

Speaking on the WWE SummerSlam Kickoff show, Jey Uso revealed that his body still had not recovered from what happened on RAW. He confessed that he is heading into the premium live event not in 100% physical condition.

While the 39-year-old pointed out that something was wrong with his right side, he emphasized that he was ready to go to war tonight at SummerSlam.

I don’t think I’m a 100%, man. I really think something is wrong with my right side here.

Rikishi Didn’t Think Roman Reigns Should’ve Tagged With Jey Uso At WWE SummerSlam

On an episode of his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the reunion of his son Jey Uso with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.

The wrestling legend disclosed that he does not believe The Original Tribal Chief should be in a tag team.

Do I think, uh, do I think God mode needs to be in a tag? No, I don’t. God mode stands alone. That’s his (Reigns) new name, what I’m gonna call him. Everybody calls him OTC1 now I think it is, I’m gonna call him God mode, you know, because he’s good for business. He’s the one that make thinngs happen. He’s the one that opens up opportunity not only for the company but for everybody. Everybody that’s on this roster during this ride of Roman Reigns’ time, man, y’all making money and y’all should be thanking him. When God walks, he don’t walk with a pile. He can, it’d be alright, but he don’t need it.
