Jey Uso Tells Familiar Face On WWE Raw After Getting Attacked – “I Can’t Do It”
Jey Uso was part of the main event of WWE Monday Night Raw in Paris, and it was a rough night for the former World Heavyweight Champion.
In the main event of WWE Clash in Paris, Jey Uso competed in a fatal 4-way match against the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and LA Knight.
It was Jey’s chance to regain the World Heavyweight Title that he won at WrestleMania. However, Jey couldn’t win the match this time around. Rollins was able to plant Jey and Knight with The Stomp on the floor while Seth’s wife, Becky Lynch, hit Punk with a low blow at the perfect time. That led to Rollins beating his rival Punk to retain the World Heavyweight Title.
Following the events of Clash In Paris, Jey Uso and LA Knight had a promo exchange on WWE Monday Night Raw in Paris, where Knight claimed that Jey was the reason why Knight was unable to win the World Title.
There was an interruption from The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, which led to the tag team main event being made as Knight and Jey teamed up against The Vision’s powerful duo.
Jey Uso Saved By Brother Jimmy Uso To End WWE Monday Night Raw
During the exciting TV main event of WWE Raw in Paris, Jey Uso seemed to lose focus because he was trying to finish off Bronson Reed after an Uso Splash, but Reed wasn’t the legal man. That allowed Bron Breakker to go back into the ring and hit a Spear on Jey to get the win for his team.
After the match, Breakker punched Jey several times while Reed hit a senton splash. Bron took Jey’s protective tape that Jey was wearing to protect his ribs. Knight punched Reed to stop a Tsunami attempt. Knight tried to save Jey, but Bron hit a Spear on Knight. Reed tossed Knight over the French commentary table. Bron ran the ropes quickly and hit a Spear on Jey. Reed went up top and hit a Tsunami on Jey.
Since Reed and Breakker attacked Roman Reigns at Wrestlepalooza, it didn’t seem like there were a lot of options to save Jey. Fortunately for Jey, his twin brother Jimmy Uso made the save by running down to the ring with a steel chair. When Jimmy got into the ring, Reed and Bron left.
When Jimmy checked on Jey in the ring, Jey looked like a defeated man as he said, “I need you. I can’t do it. I can’t do it.” Jimmy said he’s here for his brother.
It’s not yet known if Jimmy Uso has been officially moved to Raw after being a SmackDown guy for several years.
As a tag team, The Usos are 8-time WWE Tag Team Champions and considered by many fans to be the best tag team in WWE history. They have main-evented WrestleMania together and also held the longest-reigning tag team title reign in company history.
Whether this Usos reunion leads to tag team gold again remains to be seen, but at least for now, it looks like Jimmy Uso is going to be on the same page as his brother Jey Uso again.
