Jey Uso Reveals One Thing He Wanted To Learn From John Cena
After leaving the Bloodline, Jey Uso went on a singles journey in WWE.
The level of success he found was unprecedented for him, which resulted in him winning the 2025 Royal Rumble and subsequently the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.
Uso recently appeared on the RAW Recap podcast, hosted by Sam Roberts and Megan Morant.
One of the things he spoke about was his desire to learn from John Cena, especially about handling his ‘big super babyface’ persona, which was gaining prominence every week.
Once I had the the title was I wanted to do every and anything, all the commercials, all the make a wish, everything, bro. Give it to me, man. I wanted to take, man, I just wanted to learn from Cena, man. I wanted to be like, what a big super baby face is supposed to be. That’s why I got the bright colors, too. It was like I’ll never steer from it, you know, just learning from them all, man. But, yeah, it was definitely want to get back to the damn title.
Jey Uso Hopes For A Bright Future With Jimmy Uso
During the podcast, Jey Uso was questioned about getting back with Jimmy Uso in tag team action.
Roberts asked what Jey felt about getting back together with Jimmy after having spent much of the last couple of years in singles action, and just when it seemed like they were getting together, it fell apart.
Jey responded that he only wanted the best for his twin, and he would never say no to them getting back as a tag team.
Man, I’m never gonna say no to Jimmy. Like, I’m never gonna deny my brother of being one of the greatest tag teams of all time. I would love to run it back, being super-team as you call it, but, man, I think we got unfinished business in the singles game right here. I think we still got a lot to prove. I wanna see Big Jim get his title shot, man, I know it’s lurking around there, you know, whether it’s SmackDown or RAW, my brother’s gonna get one.
