Jey Uso Not Medically Cleared After WWE Sneak Attack
Drew McIntyre is back in the mix in WWE but that has meant bad news for Jey Uso who’s been put on the injured list.
Drew McIntyre had not been seen on WWE TV since Hell In A Cell back in October. At that event, CM Punk defeated McIntyre inside Hell In A Cell to finally end their feud which had worn on since the Scottish star injured Punk in the Royal Rumble match in January.
But that all changed on the 2nd of December edition of Raw. Sami Zayn was left upset after a run-in with Seth Rollins as Rollins berated both Zayn and Jey Uso for teaming with CM Punk at Survivor Series. Zayn’s anger only increased later in the night when it emerged Uso had been the victim of a sneak attack backstage.
Drew McIntyre made his shock return to attack Sami Zayn and on the 9th of December edition of Raw, he revealed he was behind the attack on Jey Uso as well.
Jey Uso Suffers At The Hands Of Drew McIntyre
McIntyre had a similar mindset to Seth Rollins but he was upset that the stars chose to team with Roman Reigns in WarGames noting that at least his old rival Punk had received a bribe in the form of an undisclosed favour from Paul Heyman. Joe Tessitore noted on commentary that Jey Uso was still not medically cleared after the attack by McIntyre.
Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre will clash at Saturday Night’s Main Event after McIntyre launched another sneak attack on Zayn before he was thrown out of the building by Adam Pearce.
