Jey Uso Gives Update On Jimmy Uso’s WWE Future

Jey Uso Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso has provided an update on the return status of twin brother, Jimmy.

The former Bloodline members have lifted Tag Team Championship gold together on eight occasions but became embroiled in a bitter rivalry in late 2023, ultimately leading to a bout between the pair on Night One of WrestleMania 40 on 6th April.

The younger brother by 9 minutes, Jey Uso, battled to victory over his sibling at Lincoln Financial Field in a contest that failed to meet the high expectations of fans and critics alike.

Jimmy Uso was written off television shortly afterwards after being exiled from The Bloodline following an attack by the debuting Tama Tonga. The 38 year-old has been recovering from nagging injuries ever since, but could soon make a return to our screens.

Speaking in a recent appearance on ‘The Ringer Wrestling Show‘, Jey Uso provided a positive update on his brother’s condition and confirmed that a return was looming:

“My brother will be back soon.

I want to see him on TV. Like, if you really pay attention to Jimmy, Jimmy [is] funny as hell.

He started shining on SmackDown for a little bit, then he got hurt. I’m excited to see his character back on TV. How he is with Roman [Reigns] now. Even with me.”

Jey Uso Booking Slammed By WWE Hall Of Famer

Despite featuring prominently on Raw each week and receiving rousing support from members of the WWE Universe, Jey Uso was not involved in a bout at SummerSlam on 3rd August.

The decision not to feature the popular Superstar on the major Premium Live Event has been slammed by Uso’s Father and WWE Hall Of Famer, Rikishi.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion was also critical of writers for hinting at a potential relationship between his son and Rhea Ripley.
