Massive Update On Jey Uso’s Future Amid WWE Heel Turn Speculations

Jey Uso Yeet glasses WWE

Jey Uso teased a heel turn last week on Monday Night Raw.

Uso attacked LA Knight on the September 8, 2025, episode of WWE Raw, held at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. After a hard-fought main event featuring The Vision’s Bronson Reed against LA Knight, tensions escalated. Reed and Breakker aggressively targeted The Megastar, leading to Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso rushing out to defend him.

However, the evening culminated with Jey Uso suddenly spearing LA Knight, which stunned both Knight and Jimmy Uso. This spear symbolized a potential heel turn for Main Event Jey Uso, who has been one of the top babyfaces in the company. However, BodySlam.netrecently reported that WWE doesn’t intend to turn Jey Uso into a heel character anytime soon.

“As of now, there are no creative plans within WWE to turn Jey Uso heel. Internally, he continues to be positioned as one of the company’s top babyfaces, and his current presentation reflects that stance.” [H/T Ringside News]

Jey Uso’s Heel Turn Could Have an Equal Impact As Hulk Hogan’s Heel Turn

Speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter commented on Jey Uso teasing a heel turn. He claimed that Uso’s heel turn could be as significant as Hulk Hogan’s heel turn that shifted the wrestling landscape years ago.

I don’t think that’s gonna happen because, just his entrance alone… Well it could happen. But his entrance alone, coming down and yeeting with the kids, they love that. This would be like, you know, when Hogan turned heel. He was the biggest babyface in the world, and he turned heel. Look at Jey Uso, right now, he is like one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE. The fans just love him.

Hulk Hogan’s infamous heel turn occurred on July 7, 1996, during the main event of WCW’s Bash at the Beach pay-per-view, held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Hogan appeared to be rushing to help WCW against Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, known as The Outsiders.

However, in a stunning betrayal, he attacked his ally Randy Savage with a big leg drop instead, revealing himself as the ‘third man’. This moment launched the legendary New World Order (nWo) faction, which revolutionized professional wrestling.
