Jey Uso Wants Full Blown Tag Team With Former WWE Rival
Jey Uso might have spread his wings as a singles star in WWE but it seems he wants to form a full-blown tag team with his former rival.
For most of his WWE career, Jey Uso was by the side of his twin brother Jimmy Uso as they became one of the most decorated tag teams in company history. The Usos were the first team to defend the WWE Tag Team Championship in the main event of WrestleMania when they took on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in 2023 and that loss proved to be the beginning of the end.
The Usos found themselves on the outs with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa and when they defeated The Bloodline pair, it catapulted Jey Uso into an Undisputed WWE Title shot against Reigns at SummerSlam. However, Jimmy Uso turned on his brother, afraid of what he might have become as champion with Jey Uso left to leave SmackDown to get away from The Bloodline and start fresh on his own.
Jey Uso Wants A New Tag Team Partner In WWE
During his time on Raw, Jey Uso has held tag team gold with someone he used to stand across the ring from in Cody Rhodes and now he wants to do even more with another star even nearer and dearer to his heart.
Speaking to Metro, Jey Uso revealed he wants to work with Sami Zayn, putting their shared Bloodline past behind them to form a new tag team in WWE:
I know we hated each other on screen, but we really love each other in the back, but it just came off on TV, so organically. You will have little glimpses of me and him on Raw but man, I really want to go like, full blown tag team with him and try to see how that goes.
One of the most best times of my wrestling career was that Bloodline, with Sami Zayn.
In recent weeks, Uso has been helping out Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley in their battles with The Judgment Day. However, Jey Uso will get a chance to win singles gold on the 23rd of September edition of Raw.
