“We Got Unfinished Business” – Jey Uso Addresses Relationship With Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso has bigger plans than a reunion with his brother.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, Jey Uso will make his latest attempt on the World Heavyweight Championship.

His match with CM Punk comes after he and his brother Jimmy came closer than ever to resuming their legendary run at the top of the tag team division. In fact, they did get back on the same page one more time at Wrestlepalooza to battle The Vision.

While appearing on the RAW Recap, Jey was asked about a potential full-time reunion with Jimmy. In response, he said that while he’ll never turn his back on his brother, he feels that both of them have unfinished business as singles stars.

“Man, I’m never going to say no to Jimmy. Like, I’m never going to deny my brother of being one of the greatest tag teams of all time. I would love to run it back, being a super team, as you call it. But, man, I think we got unfinished business in this singles game right here. I think we still got a lot to prove.

I want to see Big Jim get his title shot, man. I know it’s lurking around there. Whether it be SmackDown or Raw, my brother’s going to get one. I’m happy for him to just be on that route too, man. But I’m telling you, once he gets a taste of what it is, being like a singles star, man, and being a singles champion, man, it hit different, man.

The money go up. All the side, the commercials go up. You know what I’m saying, uce? Everything goes up. So just want to- I still feel like I got, I got some things to prove, in my own journey right now.”

Jey Uso Makes Bold Roman Reigns Claim

During the same appearance, Jey Uso claimed that he and Roman Reigns are now equals. For the past five years, the two men have been rivals and teammates, with Reigns often trying to act as something of a mentor to Uso, even if his ‘tough love’ methods weren’t always exactly helpful.

In more recent times, that has seen Reigns trying to build Uso up as he prepares to face CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
