Jey Uso Admits Acting Unprofessionally On WWE TV
Jey Uso has admitted that there are moments from his WWE career that he has not watched back as he fears he was acting unprofessionally.
Jey Uso was an integral part of The Bloodline as he went from Roman Reigns’ unlikely challenger to The Tribal Chief’s Right-Hand Man before becoming Main Event in his own right and walking away from the group to make a name for himself.
Uso’s most fondly remembered part of The Bloodline came as the grudging voice against Sami Zayn who had ingratiated himself with the group. Jey Uso eventually caved in and became an ardent supporter of Zayn before he slammed a chair into Roman Reigns’ back.
Speaking at Fanatics Fest NYC, Jey Uso was talking about his relationship with Sami Zayn when he got an “Ucey” chant and he revealed the moment when Zayn dropped that in a promo was his most embarrassing one in a WWE ring:
We’re going to bring it back, Uce. By far, Ucey, that segment (was the most) laughing on TV. That was the most coolest and embarrassing moment for me. I didn’t know what to do. It was fun.
Jey Uso Can’t Watch Back Bloodline Segments
Jey Uso was then asked if he ever watched those segments back and he admitted he hadn’t because he felt he was beginning to be unprofessional on-screen:
I don’t like (watching it back). There were a couple of times where I was laughing on TV every week and then I started thinking to myself, ‘I’m being unprofessional, I think.’ I couldn’t help it because when we’re doing the shots, we’re doing them live.
They’re counting it down, I’m just standing there, and I don’t know what he’s going to say. He’s looking at me trying to make me laugh. My brothers too. It’s real hard when I have eye contact with my brothers, it’s hard for me not to smile. Solo can keep a stone-cold face.
The Bloodline looks to be on the verge of civil war on SmackDown with Roman Reigns back to combat the group that is now under Solo Sikoa’s leadership. It remains to be seen if Jey Uso ends up embroiled in his family’s fight once again.
