Je’Von Evans Defeats Former WWE Champion On SmackDown
Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown serves as the go-home episode for tomorrow night’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, which is expected to be one of the biggest events of the year.
17-time WWE World Champion John Cena is set to hang up his boots at the show and decided that he wants to use his final appearance to shed some light on some of the most talented NXT wrestlers.
The show would see Je’Von Evans team up with Leon Slater and go up against AJ Styles and Rey Fenix. Before his appearance on John Cena’s final show though, Evans faced one of Cena’s long-term rivals tonight on SmackDown.
Je’Von Evans earned a huge win over The Miz on WWE SmackDonw
Evans was present at tonight’s show and was talking about his upcoming match before being interrupted by The Miz, which led to a match between the two individuals.
The Miz has been advocating to be present on tomorrow’s show since he failed to win the Last Time is Now tournament, but has failed to find a spot for himself till now.

The 2025 Men’s Iron Survivor put an excellent performance against the A-Lister and had the entire SmackDown crowd on their feet. He ultimately walked away with the win after hitting the OG Cutter on The Miz to gain some momentum before tomorrow’s big match.
