There’s no other way of describing Je’Von Evans’ current WWE status other than “floater.”

Of late, he has appeared on three of the company’s brands—Raw, SmackDown, and NXT—with no destination in sight.

He was again featured on the December 29 episode of the red brand in a segment with AJ Styles, Dragon Lee, and Los Americanos.

This was The Young OG’s second run-in with the heel faction, although this time around, he had the tag team champions backing him.

Je’Von Evans was recently declared a free agent, like Trick Williams.

During an interview with Going Ringside, the 21-year-old was asked about his status within the company and whether he was assigned to any specific brand.

Evans claimed that nothing had been finalized and that it was up to WWE to take the final call.

I think that it could be in the works. But, that’s up to them. That’s up to them whenever they feel like I’m ready. I’m just there whenever they need me. [H/T: Fightful]

Je’Von Evans Is Feuding With Ricky Saints On NXT

Je’Von Evans’ situation could be the direct result of his ongoing feud with Ricky Saints.

At NXT Deadline, he won the Iron Survivor Challenge to earn the opportunity for an NXT Championship match against Oba Femi at New Year’s Evil on January 6.

However, in the heat of the moment, he challenged Femi on the December 9 episode.

Despite enduring a lot of punishment, Evans came close to winning the title for the first time, but Ricky Saints pulled the referee out of the ring during a pinfall count.

Femi ultimately beat Evans to reclaim his title.

After being involved in a face-off segment on NXT last week, a match was decided between Je’von Evans and Ricky Saints for the December 30 episode.
