Hall Of Famer Blasts Fans Complaining About Jelly Roll In WWE
Jelly Roll participated in a big angle on WWE SmackDown that will likely lead to the singer’s debut in the ring.
During WWE SmackDown in Nashville, a special musical performance by popular singer Jelly Roll took place. He was singing his hit song “Liar” for about 30 seconds when WWE superstar Logan Paul showed up to interrupt the performance.
Logan Paul trashed Jelly by saying that everybody was here to hear real WWE superstars. Paul mocked Jelly for having tattoos of his children, but he doesn’t have custody of them. Paul said that Jelly belongs on a stage, not in a WWE ring.
The insults continued as Logan complained about others coming into “our” industry, interfering in a platform that “we” have built. Paul said that clout chasers like Jelly disgust him. What made those lines so good is that those are the things that people often say when they criticize Paul being in WWE.
According to Paul, WWE doesn’t need Jelly Roll, but it needs Logan Paul. Logan said he sets the bar for what it means to be a pro wrestler. Paul spoke about his podcast when Jelly interrupted him.
In response, Jelly said that this is his hometown, and the fans cheered when he mentioned it was Nashville. Jelly said that down here, nobody gives a damn about your podcast.
Randy Orton showed up, saying “outsider,” and he yelled at Logan for calling Jelly an outsider. Orton claimed that Jelly is one of the biggest names in the music industry. Orton said if anybody is an outsider, it’s Logan.
The intensity was turned up as Orton got in Paul’s face and called him an entitled, whiny little bitch. Orton said that they move heaven and Earth to make sure that…and here comes Drew McIntyre with a Claymore Kick to put Orton down. The fans booed that. Orton dropped Drew with an RKO last week, so Drew got his revenge. McIntyre was taken away by security at that point.
That’s when Logan Paul attacked Randy Orton with punches. Jelly Roll called for some help, but nobody was coming, so Jelly pulled Logan off Orton by the air. Jelly tossed Logan down by the hair and Logan left the ring. Security and referees showed up to get Logan out of there while GM Nick Aldis went into the ring to calm the guys down. Logan grabbed a guitar and smashed it. Paul broke up a drum kit and damaged other items on the stage.
This is CHAOS! 😱

Jelly Roll Will Be Ringside Supporting Randy Orton At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
After a break, Jelly Roll was shown backstage with his wife and Randy Orton, who thanked Jelly for helping him. Jelly said he wanted to support Randy Orton at Saturday Night’s Main Event, so Orton said sure and told Jelly to be in his corner. Jelly agreed.
Randy Orton will face Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12th, and Jelly Roll will be in Orton’s corner. It’s possible that Logan Paul may be there too. The expectation is that Jelly Roll will team up with Randy Orton at SummerSlam against Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul on August 2 & 3, but nothing is official yet.
Writing on X/Twitter, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley told fans who complain about Jelly Roll’s involvement are ignorant.
Outside biz personalities have been involved w/ WWE since ‘Mania 1 and Mr. T…maybe before that If you’re complaining about Jelly Roll, you’re ignorant or just dont “get it.”
ps…I’ll be on @BustedOpenRadio tomorrow morning to talk about it. #ProWrestlingNation247#SmackDown
