Jeff Jarrett A Fan Of WWE & TNA Partnership
AEW’s Jeff Jarrett has had his say on the partnership between WWE and the company he founded in 2002, TNA Wrestling.
WWE and TNA have announced a multi-year partnership that will see talent shared between the two companies. 2024 has already seen plenty of talent going between NXT and TNA while the year kicked off with TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace entering the Royal Rumble.
Jordynne Grace is on her way to WWE as her time in TNA came to an end recently and she might not be the only one to jump ship with Josh Alexander quitting TNA live on pay-per-view.
TNA was formed in 2002 by Jeff Jarrett and his father Jerry Jarrett and the current AEW star was a big part of the company until he resigned in 2014 after a major fallout.
Jeff Jarrett Weighs In On WWE & TNA Deal
Speaking on Fanrun Radio in Tennessee, Jeff Jarrett had his say on the partnership and thinks if it is something where fans reap the benefits then it’s worthwhile:
A wise man builds his house upon a rock. Way way back in the day, when TNA got started in 2002, that name and the branding was built, and it’s gone through a lot of evolutions. You kind of see what you built. My mindset, born and raised in the territory era, and when I launched Global Force, the collaborative effort of working together, the days of not really working together and that type mindset is so yesteryear and passe.
At the end of the day, if you create a scenario where the wrestling fans win, we all win. At the very core of all of it, you have to figure out how you satisfy your customer, what a novel concept these days, but the customer is always right. If it’s good for the customer, it’s incumbent on the business to figure out how to adapt and make it work for the bottom line.
Jeff Jarrett has signed the last in-ring contract of his career as he sets his sights on capturing the AEW World Championship before hanging up his boots.
