JD McDonagh Performs CPR On Major WWE Star At Live Event (Video)

On the ‘Road to Clash In Paris’ U.K. tour, World Wrestling Entertainment made a stop at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds, England, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, for a non-televised house show. The night was headlined by CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and Penta defeating The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio.

After the match, fans saw JD McDonagh put on a surprising and entertaining moment when he appeared to give CPR to Finn Balor. Fans were momentarily concerned, but it quickly became clear it was all part of the act to entertain and lighten the mood of the crowd. Stars are way more relaxed and tend to go off-script and improvise during the house show, which is what the Judgement Day members did.

Finn Balor Secures Victory Over Dragon Lee On WWE RAW

Finn Balor had a singles match against Dragon Lee on the September 1 edition of Monday Night RAW. JD McDonagh accompanied him during the match. The action kicked off with Balor gaining some initial offense. Lee quickly showcased agility by dodging Balor’s charge and executing a hurricanrana followed by a dropkick to the outside.

Lee’s top-rope somersault dive over the top to Balor on the floor was met with loud applause. After a while, Balor found his rhythm, hitting a powerful dropkick and a Russian leg sweep as the crowd started chanting for him. The match was filled with exciting counters, near falls, and fan chants.

After a back-and-forth battle lasting around 10 minutes, Balor climbed the turnbuckle and, following a sequence of counters, nailed his signature Coup de Grace double foot stomp to pin Dragon Lee for the win.

Later in the night, another Judgment Day member, Dominik Mysterio, also had a singles match where he defended his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles. Despite the RAW General Manager banning Balor and McDonagh from the ringside for the match, Dirty Dom managed to pull a victory thanks to El Grande Americano.
