JBL Warned By TNA Star Who May Show Up On WWE Raw
A TNA wrestler has threatened WWE Hall of Famer JBL after what happened at the Genesis PLE.
It was on Raw a week ago that WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield (aka JBL) will be appearing on the January 20th edition of Monday Night Raw in Dallas, which is in his home state of Texas.
While WWE has yet to announce what JBL might be doing on Raw, the former WWE Champion has made his presence felt in other promotions. For the past several months, JBL has shown up at TNA events oftentimes to help Nic Nemeth win matches.
At TNA Genesis, JBL appeared when Frankie Kazarian teased using his Call Your Shot trophy (similar to WWE’s Money in the Bank) and Layfield nailed Kazarian with the Clothesline From Hell.
Frankie Kazarian reacted to JBL’s attack on social media by suggesting that perhaps he will show up on Raw to confront Layfield. Raw is in Dallas like Genesis was, so Kazarian wouldn’t have to travel far to get there.
Getting real sick of this bastard showing up, uninvited, to @ThisIsTNA which is MY show. Maybe I’ll show up on @WWE #RawOnNetflix and clothesline the hell out of @JCLayfield🖕🏼#KingofTNA

After a multi-year partnership was announced between WWE and TNA, the possibility of WWE talent showing up in TNA and vice versa is expected to be a regular thing moving forward, so the idea of Kazarian showing up on Raw may not be as crazy as it may have sounded in the past.
JBL Not Expecting A Match With John Cena
When talking about his appearances at pro wrestling shows lately, JBL has said he has plans regarding what he might do in pro wrestling in 2025. Layfield has lost weight and appears to be in great physical condition.
While JBL is doing well physically, he doesn’t expect to have a match with John Cena even though he would do it if it was offered to him.
“Of course. Yeah, because I think the world of John and I was so happy that I was part of John’s, formative career. I, again, I don’t take any credit for anything. John did.
John would be exactly where he is now with or without me. I’m just glad that I was one of the ones that was there at the start. But John’s such a great guy. I mean, everything about him.
I mean, the more you know about John, from his Make-A-Wish, what he does, to how he interacts with fans, to how he interacts with talent, what he’s done for talent. I mean, it’s just amazing.
It’s not going to happen, by the way. There’s no absolutely zero talk of it.”
It was 20 years ago at WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles when Cena beat Layfield for what was Cena’s first of 16 WWE World Title wins.
