JBL Returning To WWE Raw

JBL

WWE Hall of Famer JBL has been keeping himself busy in wrestling rings across the world recently but now he’s heading back to Monday Night Raw.

JBL has been associated with WWE for much of the last three decades but now it seems the star is spreading his wings. Using his real name of John Layfield, the WWE Hall of Famer has appeared recently in TNA by the side of current TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth, as well as AAA, GCW, and OVW.

One report gave some insight into how WWE felt about JBL’s recent excursions but the star thinks you can’t believe everything you read as he blasted rumours about his current contract situation.

JBL Coming Back To WWE Raw

Whatever deal he has though, JBL is returning to WWE with the announcement being made that he’ll be part of the January 20 edition of Raw in Dallas, Texas.

That show will also see a WrestleMania 40 rematch take place as Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre will clash once again. Drew McIntyre defeated Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania only for CM Punk to take out McIntyre afterwards allowing Damian Priest to cash in his Money In The Bank contract and leave with the gold.

JBL’s last run of note in WWE ended in February 2023 when his short-lived on-screen association with Baron Corbin came to an abrupt end. His last official match came when he had a brief cameo in the 2014 Royal Rumble.
