JBL Breaks Out Clotheslines From Hell As Ex-WWE Star Keeps TNA Title

JBL John Bradshaw Layfield TNA Hat

JBL just loves to throw a Clothesline.

After making a surprise appearance at night three of AAA Triplemania 32 alongside Nic Nemeth, JBL rocked up in GCW to flatten Effy with a Clothesline From Hell.

Fast forward to September 13th, and the man formerly known as Bradshaw landed in TNA. During a wild main event, Moose and The System did everything they could to take the World Title from Nic Nemeth, but incredibly it was the champion who walked out with the gold.

The first man to thwart The System was Mike Santana, but Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards decided to pick up where JDC and Alisha Edwards left off. However, the pair were smashed to the floor by two lariats from JBL.

This left Nemeth and Moose one one-on-one, with the former WWE star coming out on top.

WWE Reaction To JBL Adventures

With JBL on something of a world tour, some have wondered what that means for his relationship with WWE. A recent report confirmed the star remains under a Legends contract, and as such is free to appear wherever he likes, as long as he doesn’t use any gimmicks owned by WWE.

Although the former World Champion stepped away from his last full-time role with WWE in 2017 he continues to make sporadic appearances for the company.
