Jay White Confirms Injury, Fires Warning At Top AEW Names
Jay White is injured.
On the April 2 edition of Dynamite, it was announced that Kevin Knight would be taking Jay White’s place in the Owen Hart Cup. AEW’s latest signing will now face Will Ospreay at Dynasty on April 6.
The announcement came after White had been attacked backstage by the Death Riders. However, he is dealing with a genuine injury.
On Collision White confirmed he’s dealing with a broken hand. In a fired-up backstage interview, Switchblade took aim at Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley as he looks to the future.
Jay White Part Of Growing AEW Injury List
Following the news that White had been pulled from the Owen Hart Cup, it was reported that both Mark Davis and Orange Cassidy are dealing with injuries. Cassidy is reportedly dealing with a pectoral issue, while Davis’ injury remains unknown.
However, in some better news for the company, Jay White’s tag team partner Juice Robinson is set to step up his training as he prepares to return to the ring. According to the most recent update on his status, Robinson is now just a few weeks away from being able to resume in-ring training.
The star suffered a broken fibula in November in a freak accident during a match with Will Ospreay in late October 2024.
