Jason Kelce Gets Physical At WrestleMania 40

Rey Mysterio and Andrade had unlikely help to pick up the win over Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar at WrestleMania 40.

At WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio had finally had enough of his delinquent son Dominik, taking him on in a match despite having been reluctant to do so for months. The WWE Hall of Famer tried to teach Dominik a lesson as he picked up a win but a year later, it seems Dominik Mysterio has learned nothing at all.

Despite his Judgment Day allegiances, Dominik Mysterio has been in cahoots with Santos Escobar recently as he looked to put the knife into his father’s back once again.

On the 29th of March edition of SmackDown, Rey Mysterio wasn’t backing down from the fight as he issued a challenge to Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio for a tag team match at WrestleMania 40. Mysterio’s partner was then revealed as the newest member of the LWO, Dragon Lee. Many fans noted that the LWO’s Carlito looked less than thrilled at Mysterio’s choice of partner.

Jason Kelce Gives Unlikely Help At WrestleMania

On SmackDown before WrestleMania, a spanner was thrown in the works as Dragon Lee was taken out backstage. Carlito noted Escobar was to blame but very few watching would believe that. Later in the show, Andrade joined Escobar and Dominik for Elektra Lopez’s match with Zelina Vega. However, when the villains attacked Rey, Andrade changed sides and took out Escobar and Dominik. Rey Mysterio then confirmed Andrade was his new partner and Carlito was left on the sidelines once again.

At WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, a wild match with plenty of action from Legado del Fantasma and the LWO involved. Ultimately, in a bizarre twist, Rey Mysterio and Andrade had the most unlikely help from former Philadelphia Eagles Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson to win the bout.
