Jamie Hayter Offers Update Following AEW Blood & Guts Injury Scare

Jamie Hayter AEW

Jamie Hayter is more than a little banged up.

On November 12, in Greensboro, North Carolina, 12 of AEW’s biggest women’s stars went to war inside Blood & Guts for the very first time.

Unsurprisingly, the match was pure chaos from start to finish, with all manner of weapons used to inflict pain.

This saw Mercedes Mone smashed in the face with brass knuckles by Harley Cameron, before being sent crashing through a table by Kris Statlander. Elsewhere, Marina Shafir clotheslined Statlander onto a bed of nails, while Toni Storm was smashed in the face with a mirror.

Skye Blue was a bloody mess just seconds into the match, with Statlander, Megan Bayne, Mina Shirakawa, and Marina Shafir all busted open at one point or another.

Following the show, it was reported that Jamie Hayter was legitimately banged up and may have chipped several teeth. Many suspected that this occurred when she had a chair thrown at her head by Megan Bayne while covered with a trash can lid in the corner.

Jamie Hayter Pushing Forwards

Less than 24 hours removed from the chaos, Hayter was back in front of the cameras at a Highspots Sign-it-Live session. She admitted to being “all bruised up” and sore, but said otherwise she was doing fine.

“I’m pretty sore. I’m not gonna lie… I’m all bruised up and stuff, but you know what? It’s alright.”

In an injury update on Wrestling Observer Live, it was revealed that Darby Allin is doing fine despite being thrown through a flaming table during the men’s match. Allin had appeared to be on fire as he rolled away to safety, leaving the destruction behind him.

Powerhouse Hobbs also emerged from his Falls Count Anywhere Match with “Hangman” Adam Page unscathed. During the match, Hobbs landed hard on his tailbone after being dropped from the commentary table.
