Jake Roberts Completes Absurd AEW Talent Trade
You might have 21 but Jake Roberts still has 22 as he completes one of the most unexpectedly bizarre deals in AEW history.
Since joining AEW in 2020, WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts has been by the side of The Murderhawk Monster, Lance Archer. Archer has been dominant in many of his matches in the company but has never quite made it to the top of the card as he’s also spent long stretches on the sidelines.
But now Lance Archer might be hoping for more luck as he changes management in AEW. Don Callis had approached Archer previously with the star confirming he was still aligned with Jake Roberts. Don Callis currently counts Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher as his active on-screen talents with many fans asking a lot of questions about why his apparent alliance with Rush has been ignored ever since it was formed.
But on Dynamite Title Tuesday, a lot of questions were answered.
Jake Roberts Is Los Ingobernable
Don Callis and Jake Roberts appeared on the show together confirming that a deal had been done and Lance Archer was now part of The Don Callis Family. When Roberts was asked what he was getting as part of a deal he teased a surprise up his sleeve and nobody would have imagined what The Snake had in mind.
Later in the evening, Hologram picked up a win over Komander when Roberts emerged on the stage. Soon both Hologram and Komander were swarmed by Rush, The Beast Mortos, and Dralistico in a surprise attack. The three men then raised their fists in salute to Jake Roberts and he returned the favour signalling that they were now aligned.
Why is Jake "The Snake" Roberts out here? Who did he get in the trade?!
