Jade Cargill’s Real Injury Being Kept Top Secret In WWE
Jade Cargill was thrown onto a car on SmackDown but it seems the real nature of what’s keeping her out of action is being kept from everyone.
On the November 22nd episode of SmackDown, footage was shown of Jade Cargill laid out on the hood of a car with the windshield smashed. This caused Cargill’s tag team partner Belair to abandon the match and head backstage as her friend was loaded into an ambulance.
In an update on social media, WWE announced that Cargill had suffered several injuries during the attack, including facial lacerations and a bruised kidney while also noting that there is no timetable for her return.
The real reason for Jade Cargill being written off WWE TV has since apparently been revealed but there’s a lot still not known about her status.
Jade Cargill’s Injury Remains Unknown
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reiterated that he heard that Cargill was facing a minimum of three months out of action but explained that the real nature of her injury is being kept a closely guarded secret even to those close to her:
I was told three months minimum. Whatever the actual injury is, it’s being kept very secret. I’ve heard from several in the company who were aware of the injury, and they say not only do they not know what the injury is, but people who are very close to her don’t know what the injury is, but it is an injury.
When I read that list (WWE’s list of injuries Jade suffered) I figured one or two of them is probably the real one, but I don’t know what one or two.
Jade Cargill’s replacement for WarGames at Survivor Series has been confirmed. However, with the length of time she’s meant to miss from the ring, serious questions have been raised about the future of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship she holds with Bianca Belair.
