Jade Cargill Explains WWE SmackDown Actions After Denying Heel Turn
Jade Cargill has made a statement after her shocking attack on Tiffany Stratton on WWE SmackDown.
Ever since she won the Queen of the Ring tournament, Jade Cargill has had her eyes set on becoming the WWE Women’s Champion.
That Queen of the Ring win was four months ago, so it’s understandable that Cargill would be frustrated that she was unable to take the title away from WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton after getting multiple shots at the gold.
Tiffany Stratton was in action on WWE SmackDown in Tempe when she defeated Kiana James in singles action. After the match, the Women’s US Champion, Giulia, attacked Stratton with James, until Jade Cargill made the save.
Jade Cargill did what fans would expect by taking care of Giulia and James to help Stratton. After the assist, Cargill had had enough and nailed Stratton with a clothesline. It drew huge boos from the crowd because they liked Cargill for the past two years on WWE television, yet here she was turning heel on the respectable champion, Stratton.
“That Was My Takeover” – Jade Cargill
After the clothesline, Jade Cargill sent Stratton into the ring post. Stratton bumped to the floor, so Jade tossed Stratton into the steel steps. Jade attacked Stratton with punches and kicks while WWE Officials tried to break it up.
There was a vicious moment on the floor when Jade stomped on Stratton’s left knee while she was on the floor. Jade picked up the WWE Women’s Title, and the fans booed her for her actions. Jade tossed the title down.
Writing on Twitter/X, Jade Cargill made the statement that it wasn’t a heel turn, it was her takeover.
Don’t ask me why. Ask why it took me this long…that wasn’t a turn. That was MY takeover #LetItRain#CategoryJade#CutTheISH#ImME

After the vicious attack, WWE announced that Jade Cargill will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st. Considering that Stratton is going into the match with a knee injury and she’s held the title for nearly 10 months, many fans are likely going to predict Cargill could leave that match as the new WWE Women’s Champion.
