Jade Cargill will return to the WWE ring for the first time in four months.

It was on November 22nd, 2024 when Jade Cargill was attacked on WWE SmackDown in a beating that led to the former Women’s Tag Team Champion being laid out on the hood of a car.

After more than three months, Cargill made her triumphant return at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto and destroyed Naomi. It was officially confirmed by Naomi on the March 7th edition of SmackDown that she was the one who attacked Cargill.

In a pre-SmackDown interview that aired on March 14th, Jade Cargill talked to Cathy Kelley about how she was feeling. Jade said that physically she is ready to go. Jade blasted Naomi for thinking that Naomi could dictate Jade’s future.

When Cathy asked why Jade didn’t mention it earlier, Jade said that she only remembered being hit in the back and crashing through the car. Jade said she remembered seeing Naomi run away.

Jade said that was their best friend (referring to Jade & Bianca), so it was as if Naomi attacked Jade’s loyalty and her heart. Jade said she knew she had to take things into her own hands when she saw Belair team up with Naomi because Jade didn’t like that.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez showed up with the Women’s Tag Team Titles and they were in the lower part of the arena. Jade yelled at them from a distance while Liv complained about how they took the heat for Jade’s attack. Jade said that they would not have those titles if Jade was in the match.

It was at that point when Jade said she wanted a match with Liv next week. Liv agreed to it while telling Jade not to get injured by being thrown onto a car again. Liv laughed while Jade left her interview.

That means Jade Cargill’s first WWE match since November 11, 2024 will take place on the March 21st Smackdown in Bologna, Italy.

Jade Cargill Had Past Issues With Shayna Baszler

During Jade Cargill’s tag team run with Bianca Belair in 2024, there were issues between Cargill and WWE veteran Shayna Baszler, which led to the two women nearly coming to blows because of what went on in the ring during their matches.

There was more information on the situation in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, who reported that Cargill was blaming her opponents for the problems during matches.

“The specific confrontation was Cargill pointing to a bruise on her arm and her telling Baszler that she needed to learn how to work and Baszler responding that if she was shooting that you and I would both know.

Then later, when Cargill blamed others for problems in matches, Baszler came up to her and confronted her. This was not a one person deal but Baszler did go to talk to her about it and that didn’t make it better and she got in Baszler’s face according to one person right there and said Baszler clearly wasn’t going to back down.

Other talent saw it and they and management diffused it and got them away from each other and Baszler was called to work with the production people on the key spots they were doing in her television match that night.”

In her WWE career so far, Cargill is a two-time Women’s Champion with Bianca Belair as her tag team partner.
