Jade Cargill Would Welcome WrestleMania 41 Match Stipulation
Jade Cargill is ready to get her hands on Naomi at WrestleMania 41.
The dreaded mystery attack storyline involving Jade Cargill had a surprising twist at WWE Elimination when the powerful Cargill attacked Naomi. It was over three months earlier when Carigll was attacked in a parking lot, and when Jade came back, she went right after her former friend, Naomi.
It was later revealed by Naomi that she did it because she was jealous of Cargill’s success as a Women’s Tag Team Champion with Bianca Belair. Every week since Cargill returned, she has gone after Naomi seeking revenge.
The Jade Cargill-Naomi match will take place at WrestleMania 41 in what will be a rare women’s singles match at WrestleMania without a title on the line.
During an appearance on WWE – Die Woche, Jade Cargill said it was “amazing” to return at Elimination Chamber in Toronto.
“I’m so nervous of the reception that I’m gonna get. But, I was more so set on revenge. More than anything, I was more set on revenge to reveal who’s the person that took me out and I think it was just crazy, the last couple of months how everything was just — like nothing happened. People paraded on like nothing happened.”
Jade Cargill Is Ready For Her First WrestleMania Singles Match
At WrestleMania 40, Jade Cargill made her WrestleMania debut by teaming up with Bianca Belair & Naomi to beat Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match. This year, Cargill and Naomi will be opponents and Cargill wouldn’t mind if there was a stipulation for the match.
“I’m gonna go 2-0 (at WrestleMania). I’m excited. I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t expecting it. It kind of came out of the blue. I’m happy to show what I can do in a solo match. I welcome everything that comes with this match.
I welcome the hate, I welcome the love. I’m thankful. I’m grateful, I’m ready to put on a show, I’m ready to tear the house down and I’m ready to beat down Naomi to a pulp. I’m ready to get the revenge that has been surging for a while.
I’m happy that I can finally put it to rest and get my hands on her. I’m sure it’s gonna be more from this because I’m sure she’s gonna be broken and gonna seek revenge in some type of way but she’s wrong.
She’s absolutely wrong for what she did and people try to justify what she’s done, which is crazy. But, it means the world to get my first solo match and I’m happy to do it on the grandest stage at Mania at that, in Vegas at that with my family there. It just feels great.”
Regarding a stipulation that would let the two women use weapons in the match, Cargill would be open to that.
“I would love that, I would love that (if a stipulation was added to the match against Naomi). Listen, I have a chair in my car right now. I’ve been trying to prepare for this the entire time but, I’m just doing what I’m told and that’s fine. She’s just gonna get straight fists and that’s okay. That is okay. Fist and feet — not feet but boots and it’s all good.”
While Naomi is next up for Jade Cargill, the former Women’s Tag Team Champion Cargill recently had a staredown with Charlotte Flair that could be considered a tease for a future match.
