Jade Cargill Squashes 34-Year-Old WWE Star On SmackDown
Jade Cargill had a dominant performance on WWE SmackDown.
Ever since Jade Cargill turned heel in October, she hasn’t been messing around when it comes to her performances in the ring and her appearances on WWE SmackDown.
When Jade Cargill beat Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st, she did so in a short match in which Stratton entered with a left knee injury caused by Cargill. When she got a chance to do an in-ring promo after her title win, Cargill kept it simple by saying, “I’m that b**ch.”
At WWE SmackDown in Albany, Jade Cargill dominated B-Fab to win a match in under three minutes. B-Fab hit a few dropkicks, but then Jade took over with a Chokeslam, two Powerbombs, and a Jaded slam for the pinfall.
After the match, Jade celebrated with the WWE Women’s Title. Michin checked on her friend B-Fab. Michin got in Jade’s face, so Jade shoved Michin down. The referee kept them separated, but it looks like that could be used to set up Michin for a match against Cargill.
Jade Cargill Is Shutting Up Haters
While Jade Cargill still has her critics because she doesn’t have long matches and sometimes makes mistakes in matches, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T feels like she has quieted down the critics.
“My thing is that this is just the beginning of the rise of Jade Cargill. She’s a star, she’s a megastar, she’s a superstar. She’s everything that WWE is. I’m serious, World Wrestling Entertainment, that’s Jade Cargill.
So my thing is, congratulations. You know, my first time getting a chance to say it publicly. I already told her privately, congratulations. But congratulations to Jade Cargill, and now it’s just onward and upward. But the thing is, this is just the beginning. It’s just the beginning for her, you know.
And the learning curve is still going to be there, you know? It’s still going to be so much more learning. But that’s one thing about this business. If you’re smart, you never stop learning. You really don’t. So for someone like Jade, I give her so much praise for going out there, listening to the naysayers, too. So many doubters man, so many haters.
I mean, people ain’t got nothing to do but go on social media and down somebody else. But I’m just glad that, you know, she was able to rise above all that and look and look at her now. She’s the champ.”
Jade Cargill is currently not scheduled for a match at WWE Survivor Series on November 29th, but the heel Women’s WarGames team of Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka & Kairi Sane will need one more teammate in the 5-on-5 match, so perhaps they could get the WWE Women’s Champion on their side.
