Jade Cargill Set For Huge WWE Title Match After Heel Turn

Jade Cargill will have another chance to win a major WWE championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Tiffany Stratton defended her WWE Women’s Championship tonight against Kiana James. Although Tiffy Time came out on top, she fell victim to an attack by James and her business partner, Women’s United States Champion Guilia, after the match.

Unexpectedly, Jade Cargill made her return to SmackDown after a few weeks of absence to rush to Stratton’s aid. The Storm succeeded in taking out both James and Guilia before celebrating the victory with Stratton.

However, the victory celebration suddenly turned into a shocking attack as Cargill took out the WWE Women’s Champion. The 33-year-old continued her attack on Stratton outside the ring, seemingly injuring the latter’s knee, before security succeeded in stopping her.

Cargill later spoke to Cathy Kelley, disclosing that she mistakenly thought that the world rewards patience. She then revealed that she was going after the WWE Women’s Championship, adding that she was intending to claim power, the only thing the world rewards.

Jade Cargill Is Getting Another Shot At Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Championship

Ahead of the main event, it was officially announced that Cargill will now challenge Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event next week.

Stratton previously defeated The Storm at SummerSlam. The two later had another title match on SmackDown that ended in a no-contest after they were attacked by Nia Jax.

Cargill had a third shot at Tiffy Time’s championship on the September 26 episode of the blue brand in a Triple Threat involving The Irresistible Force. Nevertheless, she again failed to capture it.
