Jade Cargill Dismisses Internet Critics
Jade Cargill has no time for anybody directing criticism at her online.
The 31 year-old former AEW TBS Champion shocked the wrestling world in September 2023 after ending her three-year association with Tony Khan’s organisation in favour of a move to WWE.
Cargill picked up an emphatic victory over Naomi on Night One of WrestleMania 41, her first singles bout at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.
The 32 year-old previously joined forces with now-bitter rival Naomi and Bianca Belair to battle the Damage CTRL trio of Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai in a six-woman tag team bout at WrestleMania 40.
Reflecting on her victory during the WrestleMania Post Show, Cargill dismissed recent criticism aimed in her direction online, insisting that nobody could tell her what to do:
“The crown wears heavy for all of us. If you can’t go out there and do your job, this isn’t the job for you.
I had a husband who went out there and had a stellar career. I watched him and it groomed me on how to handle big moments like I just had tonight.
I know who I am and no one else out there is going to tell me who I am and what I’m about.”
Jade Cargill Shares Biggest Difference Between WWE and AEW
Jade Cargill believes that constant travel is the biggest difference between WWE and her former employers, AEW.
Cargill opened up about the schedule with WWE, which she recently described as ‘brutal’ having been used to a far lighter schedule whilst with Tony Khan’s organisation:
“I came out with the Royal Rumble, but I have consistently been working since Mania. The travel is brutal. It’s very, very brutal and the crazy thing about it is this, and I know B (Bianca Belair) talks about this all the time.
This isn’t even half of what they used to do for travel.”
