Jade Cargill Set For Biggest Match Of Her Career At WWE Evolution

Jade Cargill WWE entrance

The big matches keep on coming for Jade Cargill.

On March 27, it was reported that WWE is planning to bring back its all-female Premium Live Event, Evolution.

To date, there’s been just one Evolution event, and that took place in 2018 with a card packed with a mix of legends and present-day stars.

It’s since been reported that the event will take place on July 12 in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Saturday Night’s Main Event special also taped in the city.

Jade Cargill To Face New Rival

On night one of WrestleMania 41, Jade Cargill and Naomi made history. As they attempted to end their heated rivalry, their match was the first non-title women’s match at the event since 2006, and the first-ever women’s non-title WrestleMania match without a stipulation in history.

On the night, it was Cargill who walked out with the victory, but a potentially even bigger match might be on the horizon.

According to a report from Wrestle Votes Radio, Cargill is set to face Charlotte Flair at Evolution 2. Not only would that match require a top spot on the card, Cargill would be sharing the ring with arguably the greatest female wrestler to ever come out of North America.

“Another little bit we’re having, we’re hearing for you guys is we are told by several in creative one of the top matches pitched for Evolution 2 is Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill. While seeds have been planted on TV over the past few weeks, sources indicate plans for Evolution should start to become clearer once money in the bank is complete.”

Jade Cargill was most recently in action on the May 9 episode of SmackDown, where she lost a number one contender match for the Women’s Championship to Nia Jax. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair hasn’t wrestled since losing out to Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania.

Including the women’s Royal Rumble match, Flair has wrestled just four televised matches since suffering a major knee injury in December 2023.
