Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair Reclaim WWE Gold

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are back on top in WWE as Bash In Berlin saw them recapture the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Following her shock move from AEW to WWE in the fall of 2023, it ended up only taking six televised matches in her new company for Jade Cargill to claim championship gold. At Backlash France, Cargill teamed with Bianca Belair to defeat Asuka and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

A little over a month later, however, that title reign came to an unlikely end. At Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland, the hometown crowd roared Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to victory as they captured the title in a triple threat tag team bout which also featured Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler.

On the SmackDown before SummerSlam, Cargill and Belair finally got a rematch for the title but that match ended in a disqualification. However, the dream team got another crack at the gold at Bash In Berlin.

The champions controlled the action in Germany for much of the match, cutting Bianca Belair off from her partner. When Jade Cargill finally got the tag though, the tide turned massively in favour of the challengers. A huge double-team move on Isla Dawn allowed Jade Cargill to pin her so she and Bianca Belair became two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
