Jacob Fatu Hoping WWE Legend Returns For Dream Match

Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu wants a former WWE Champion to return to the company so that he can have his dream match.

For more than a year, Jacob Fatu has impressed the WWE Universe with how talented he is. The former US Champion bypassed NXT and was put on the main roster with Solo Sikoa when he debuted in June 2024.

Since then, Fatu has competed in WWE PLE main event matches, many TV main events, and went from being an evil heel to a beloved babyface that the fans love.

Another wrestler who the fans loved in a different era was Jeff Hardy. As one half of the Hardy Boyz tag team with his brother Matt, Jeff formed one of the best tag teams of all time and also had a lot of success as a former WWE and TNA World Champion.

The 33-year-old Jacob Fatu was asked by The Rich Eisen Show about dream matches, and he had Jeff Hardy on his mind.

“Jeff Hardy, man, I want to have a match with Jeff. Man, one of the dopest. Man, yeah. I mean, Jeff.”

Jacob also mentioned another Attitude Era wrestler who was a Cruiserweight Champion and Tag Team Champion, Tajiri: “I’m a huge fan of Tajiri.”

The Hardys are a part of the TNA roster and retained their Tag Team Titles at the Emergence PLE. It has been rumored that they could return to WWE one day, allowing them to end their career where it started.

Jacob Fatu Is Impressed By How Diverse The WWE Roster Is

When asked about other wrestlers he wanted to wrestle, the Samoan Werewolf spoke about how deep the current WWE roster is.

“Man, eventually, obviously, all the gentlemen here, man, you know, everybody here, because everybody’s a great worker.

You know, I was very blessed to even work with Boston’s own man, Carmelo Hayes. Andrade Ciampa, Johnny. I mean, you know, I used to watch these cats.

Man, there’s a lot of cats, though, you know. My uncle taught us…you got to learn how to gel with everybody if you want to really know how to move around here. So just anybody.”

As for who got him to sign with WWE, Jacob Fatu credits the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman for reaching out to him and helping the company sign Fatu to a deal that will hopefully keep him in WWE for many more years to come.
