Jack Perry Hits Out At AEW For Turning Its Back On Him

Jack Perry is still fired up following AEW Double or Nothing.

After brawling with CM Punk at All In at Wembley Stadium, Jack Perry was suspended and sent home in disgrace, his AEW career all but over. However, fast forward to May 2024, and not only is he back with the company, his star has arguably never shone brighter.

Perry first resurfaced with NJPW dubbing himself the “scapegoat,” before making a shock return to AEW at Dynasty, helping the Young Bucks win the World Tag Team Titles. Since then, he’s become ingrained within The Elite, even attacking Tony Khan.

At Double or Nothing, Jack Perry was set on fire by Darby Allin as he teamed with The Bucks and Kazuchika Okada to defeat the face-painted star, Bryan Danielson and FTR.

Jack Perry To Shape The Future Through Blood, Sweat And Fire

On the following episode of Collision, AEW shared a post-match promo from Perry, where he said no one believes in the company’s spirit more than him, despite the organisation leaving him for dead.

“What more can I possibly give!? People talk about ‘blood, sweat, and tears’ like that’s something special, like that’s some kind of a sacrifice. That’s the bare minimum. I just got set on fire in the name of saving AEW. When are people going to realize that nobody believed in the spirit more than me? Even after this company turned its back on me. When this company left me for dead.

But I continue to fight. I continue to sacrifice and you can either hate me or you can come with me, but I’m going to continue to shape the future through blood, sweat, and fire,”

On Dynamite, the Young Bucks attempted to hand Jack Perry the TNT Championship after stripping Adam Copeland of the gold. The veteran is set to miss several months of action after breaking his leg at Double or Nothing.

However, a returning Christopher Daniels, who had been fired by the Bucks two weeks earlier, announced that a new champion would be crowned via a Ladder Match at Forbidden Door.
