Jack Perry Helps Crown New AEW Tag Team Champions At Dynasty
Jack Perry has been banished from AEW since All In but now the man who calls himself The Scapegoat is back thanks to his friends in high places.
Jack Perry had not been seen in AEW since his backstage altercation with CM Punk at All In. That fight led to CM Punk being fired by AEW and while he made a sensational return to WWE, Perry was left to languish eventually resurfacing in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Tony Khan decided to show the backstage footage of the fight between CM Punk and Jack Perry as the situation seeped into the impending AEW Tag Team Title match between The Young Bucks and FTR at Dynasty. The Young Bucks presented the footage claiming the situation with Punk left them unable to focus on their match with FTR at that show which Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler won.
The AEW Tag Team Championship was vacated after Sting retired undefeated at Revolution with him and Darby Allin still holding the gold. A tournament was held to find new champions with The Bucks and FTR both making the final at Dynasty.
Jack Perry Helps The Young Bucks At Dynasty
That match was a ladder match which in the end played into The Young Bucks’ hands as they could rely on a little help from a friend. With Harwood ascending the ladder, a mystery man in a Sting man rushed the ring to topple over the ladder and leaving the way open for Matthew and Nicholas Jackson to win the AEW Tag Team Championship. That mystery man just so happened to be Jack Perry who is now back in AEW.
