IYO SKY Introduces Sixth Teammate For WWE WarGames Match

IYO SKY

Survivor Series: WarGames is a couple of nights away, and Iyo Sky has been buzzing.

The ‘Genius of the Sky’ is not new to this format, having previously competed in WarGames multiple times.

The buildup for the match began on the November 10 episode of WWE RAW when Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss lost their Women’s Tag Team Championship to Asuka and Kairi Sane.

After the match, Flair and Bliss were ambushed by The Kabuki Warriors, Lash Legend, and Nia Jax, prompting Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley to come for the save.

Over the subsequent weeks, AJ Lee joined the babyfaces, whereas Becky Lynch joined the heels to form complete teams.

Meanwhile, Iyo Sky has planned on introducing a sixth member, whom she revealed as a “trash can” on her X account.

In the past, the 35-year-old Japanese star has masterfully used trash cans to good effect, especially while performing a moonsault from the top of the cage at her opponents.

While she accomplished the stunt during WarGames matches of 2023 and 2024, it remains to be seen if she will be able to execute a hat-trick.

Iyo Sky Emotional After Performing In Japan

October was an eventful month for WWE.

Not only did it host the first Crown Jewel event outside Saudi Arabia since its inception in 2018, but it also subsequently toured Japan for a two-night event.

In the latter set-up, Iyo Sky extended her stay to compete in Marigold Grand Destiny 2025, which she main-evented against Mayu Iwatani.

After securing a win, the former WWE Women’s World Champion posted an emotional message on X, thanking the promotion for the opportunity.

It was nostalgic, warm, painful, and difficult, but also very satisfying.
It was a match that made me sad to see it end.

I’m so glad I’m doing pro wrestling.

The Marigold Ryogoku Tournament.
The past, present, and future…
Everything shone brilliantly.

Thank you so much!!

See you next time!
