IYO SKY To Continue Historic WWE Streak At Survivor Series

IYO SKY will be part of WarGames at Survivor Series and that appearance will see her continue a record-setting streak in the company.

WWE’s two Bloodlines will do battle in WarGames at Survivor Series but now ten of the company’s women are also set to clash in the double-ring cage match.

Things kicked off on the 18th of November edition of Raw when WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Ms Money In The Bank came face-to-face with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. They were soon joined by Candice LeRae and one team was in place.

They were soon confronted by WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair as well as IYO SKY and Naomi. The odds were evened when Rhea Ripley made her surprise return wearing a face protector following her recent injury. Ripley looked Morgan straight in the face as she declared WarGames and the fight was on.

The match means IYO SKY will continue her record of being every women’s WarGames match in WWE history. The former WWE Women’s Champion has competed in all five of the previous matches but perhaps worryingly for her teammates, she has only claimed victory once in WarGames.

SKY already has the most WarGames appearances of any man or woman on the current WWE roster but she’ll have to keep fighting for another decade to equal Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard’s record of 15 appearances in WarGames.
