IYO SKY Breaks Silence After Heartbreaking WWE Betrayal

IYO SKY WWE

IYO SKY has given her first public comment after she was stabbed in the back on WWE Raw.

Despite trading the Women’s World Championship earlier in 2025, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY have forged something of a friendship in recent months. That relationship has not gone down well in all quarters, with SKY’s former partner in Damage CTRL, Asuka, especially unsettled by it.

SKY previously warned Ripley to keep her distance to avoid any more issues, but the two women couldn’t help but come to each other’s aid when needed.

On the September 22nd edition of Raw, Rhea Ripley clashed with Asuka in the night’s main event. Ripley picked up the win, but the night was far from done. Asuka sprayed Ripley with her dreaded mist before taking the fight to Ripley with Kairi Sane.

IYO SKY came to talk some sense into the Kabuki Warriors when Asuka snapped and attacked her. Kairi Sane seemed torn on what to do before Asuka demanded she help take out SKY as well, which she eventually did.

IYO SKY Devastated After Raw

Now taking to social media, IYO SKY has released a video where she addressed the betrayal head-on:

I thought we were friends. I believed we were friends.

Asuka and Kairi (Sane), don’t want me. Devastated. No, but I… I wasn’t helpful for them. I realized that today.

This hurts more than losing a match. I just don’t know. Just… I’m done.

Raw also saw a huge Crown Jewel title match made as World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is set to resume hostilities with his old rival and current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in Australia.
