IShowSpeed Injured After WWE Royal Rumble Outing
IShowSpeed was injured after making a shock appearance in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
The 20 year-old streamer became a shock entrant in the match after WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H spotted him backstage as he desperately searched for a new entrant after the man who originally drew number 8, Akira Tozawa, had been attacked by the already eliminated Carmelo Hayes as he made his way to the ring.
IShowSpeed was on hand at the event to livesteam backstage alongside Kai Cenat after an invitation from Triple H and happened to be the closest man on hand when ‘The Game’ went looking for a new competitor for the Royal Rumble.
The YouTube sensation spent just 56 seconds in the match, but managed to make his mark when eliminating Alpha Academy member Otis.
The joy was short lived, however, after Speed was the victim of a devastating spear from Bron Breakker, who despatched the Cincinnati-born star over the top ropes into the waiting arms of Otis. The former Money In The Bank winner duly launched the unexpected entrant over the announce table and out of the Rumble match.
IShowSpeed took to social media following the event to share a photo of his injuries, including a bandage on what is rumoured to be a nasty calf gash.

The popular star may think twice about returning to the company after his previous appearance with WWE saw him on the receiving end of an RKO from Randy Orton as he attempted to assist close friend Logan Paul in a United States Championship bout at WrestleMania 40.
Royal Rumble Absence Upsets WWE Superstar
One man who did not compete in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match is Kofi Kingston.
The former WWE Champion had previously missed just one Rumble since his first appearance in 2009 and has earnt himself a reputation as ‘Mr Royal Rumble’ over the years after a string of memorable elimination escapes.
Kingston noted his disgust at not receiving an entry into the bout on social media, labelling his omission as a ‘miscarriage of justice’.
